I require someone skilled at data acquisition systems to do a PCB schematic and PIC program for a low noise data acquisition system with the following basic requirements:
1- 0-5V operation (+/-5V will be a nice-to-have)
2- Sampling rate at least 2 MSPS (10 MSPS will be a nice-to-have)
3- ADC resolution at least 16Bit
4- 2 channels
The application is for the analysis of coil decay curves. This is similar to MRI machines and pulse induction metal detectors. The sampling period is in the order of 3 to 6 us.
The design must be based on components that have specifications equal or better than the following:
Pre-Amp (Gain=100): OPA211 (http://focus.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/opa2211a.pdf)
ADC : ADS8481 (http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/ads8481.html?lpos=See_Also_Container&lid=Alternative_Devices)
Voltage Regulator : REF5010 (http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/ref5010.html)
PIC: DSP30F2020 @ 30 MIPS
PIC software must preferably be written for CCS compiler
PCB design must be compatible with CadSoft Eagle
1- PCB schematic (PCB layout not required)
2- PIC software code to initiate ADC and read at least 60 ADC data points into an array
