Looking to recreate an existing site based off of smartjobboard.com with some enhancements. It needs to have all the functionality smartjobboard (a tour of the current site is available for qualified candidates) offers along the following enhancements:
â?¢ One users register for the site by creating a basic profile (username/password, name, phone, etc) they MUST select a plan (job seeker, employer, or advertiser) then pay for the plan online (using authorize.net) using a credit card before they are able to use the site. The current smartjobboard version is very clunky and causing a lot of issues, we need a simple step by step process for not computer saavy users.
Once registration and payment has been completed, the user can then login and have all the features of smartjobboard.
â?¢ availability calendar (important) - ability to mark days/times they are not available to work from an availability calendar with options to set recurring days, weeks, months or years and start and end times. We really like the sittercity.com calendar for an example. The calendar info must be incorporated into the search form/results for employers/job seekers. For example, if a jobseeker updates their calendar that they are not available on Mondays from 9 am to 5 pm, they should not show up in the search results if an employer chooses those days/times.
The system should already know your zipcode from the registration process so when search for jobs/subs, you should only have to put in the radius (not put in 25 miles from zipcode 12345)
We need a simplified version of the administration section for client to use. The smartjobboard version contains too much info that the client doesnâ??t need.
The ability for the system to send welcome, we have missed you since you havenâ??t logged in for a while, sorry to see you go, etc emails automatically.
We can give qualified developers a look at the current site for reference (or you can review smartjobboard.com for their feature list). The most important features are the availability calendar and we like how the sittercity.com calendar works (seems to be jquery/php/msql integrated). I can do all of the design and layout work, I need someone to make it work and â??elegantâ??. The client hates how clunky the current site is and wants clean and simple steps (I imagine using jquery/ajax integrated into php/mysql would be the way to go to minimize the amount of pages that need to be visited/loaded etc) I can review with qualified candidates on any questions that might come up.
