This project is for some various work around my site. I will try to provide as much info as possible but please ask questions or if unsure of things.
I will be looking for a programmer that will understand the requirements, communicate well throughout the project and be creative on their own.
Also note you can bid hourly or fixed. If you bid hourly please let me know if not I will assume all bids are fixed price. No time frame on the project.

this schedule uses the current day and lists the games to be played starting from that day. would be nice to include the previous 1 or 2 games as well
#3 - this is a back admin thing for GM's. this will require some creativity
Currently there are 3 sections they can choose from Team Management, Manage Players and Schedule.
for Team Management I would like to give them more options to choose from that I provide within the admin section. can basically take the code from there and paste to here most likely. Some of the info I dont want them to be able to change and the info they cant change just show what it is so they know.
for Manage Players-- copy the admin section for managing players and same as above I dont want them to be able to change all info but still show it
Schedule is fine the way it is (maybe add in stadings so they know how there team is sitting compared to the other teams)
here is what i want new for the GM's
- each team has an affiliate team so if that team could show up as well when they log in that would be great. that way they dont have to log into each team to adjust stuff
- a trading system where the GM can request a trade with another team which will send an email and have a place in gm admin section to show the trade request. in the back gm section have a accept, decline button.. if accepted send the league admin a message so they can approve the trade and complete it.
- roster line up for game day which sends the admin an email of the lineup (will use drop menus to gather the players and info)
i can provide the format of the lineup if you require.
would also be nice to include in the email an * if the player is switching teams(ie pro team to minor team or minor team to pro team)
- with the article system in the back admin, apply this to the gm admin section so they can create articles themselves if they wish
-message system where GM's can discuss things or send messages to other GM's.. currently use the forums right now for this
#4 - a scraper fix
right now i have a scraper that works but the issue lies within getting the city and country.
right now it will grab city, country and insert (NO ISSUES)
but with the USA and Canada players it looks like this city, state, country so when it scrapes it will grab only the city, state (this is inserted as country)
i want it to be able to determine(count) the number of commas and insert accordingly
so if it has 1 comma
city, country insert as $city and $country
if it has 2 commas
city, state, country insert city,state as $city and country as $country
#5 - create a NHL awards page using the info from my database to create something similiar to this
#6 - fix twitter on front page. I had used jtweetsanywhere but since twitter changed the API to 1.1 it doesnt work anymore

if you say click on UFHL
now if you click on say standings, schedule, anything from statistics drop menu or injuries the info for UFHL stay there, but if you click on a team or award the UFHL options dont stay there. would like for the options of links/pages to stay there.
