Low budget, can be something + % after publication. I'm searching for an artist to create a unique Tarot deck to my specifications, inspired by the Biblical Gospel verses. I want this project to intertwine elements of spirituality and artistry, to create a beautiful, meaningful tarot deck.
I have a 30,000 word book that has gone through a professional edit. And a large publisher willing to talk without an agent.
The project specifics include:
- Art Style: Sparse, dramatic, sketches, and watercolor wash.
- Size: Large size cards (3.5" x 5.75") instead of the usual tarot dimensions.
- Emphasized Elements: The deck will focus on Gospel scenarios, symbolic items, and illustrations of Gospel verses. Repeating characters to create cohesion throughout the deck. I see it as quick, dramatic, and sparse.
- I have color and some element requirements in keeping with a Qabalistic Tarot view.
I am eager to collaborate with an artist who can lend their talent to this endeavor.
