2. What do I do?
I am a Senior Biomedical scientist working in the Pathology Department at Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II in Kelantan, Malaysia. The department has approximately 18 thousand cases per year and 40 staff ranging from band 2 – 8b through to Pathologist medical grade.
I am one of three senior staff operating the Histopathology laboratory of the department. I have the lead role in quality which ensures the laboratory complies with the CPA (UKAS) accreditation scheme via internal audit

The International Board of Cytopathology serves to:
Create an international network of recognized experts in the field of cytopathology.
Give cytopathologists the opportunity to test their abilities in their field of practice.
To allow cytopathologists to register with the International Board of Cytopathology
To enhance mutual exchange and understanding on a global basis.
Successful candidates receive a certificate of the IAC International Board of Cytopathology. They are also invited to become Fellow of the International Academy of Cytology for the duration of their membership in the IAC.
