There's three facets to the work I do: teaching, research and project management. I teach image and signal processing, computer vision with a scene understanding tilt, artificial intelligence and machine learning; and have headed our Senior Year Project and industrial linkage teams for almost two years. It is the third line of my work that has brought me to Freelancer.com. In two ways too. My interest here is to prove to my students that they could grab work that borders on the academic: something which an R&D department or a PhD candidate working under a strict deadline would rather have done professionally. The other reason is to get a whiff of where the state-of-the-art in technology is moving and educate my senior-year students about it. Let's have professors be pioneers in what they require that their students do, shan't we!
