Contest Brief
Hi everyone,
I created my own company 7 years ago and upgraded my company this year, so I'm preparing a complete relaunch. It's basically a company for Web/App Design and Development. As I'm not a logo designer, I'm looking for a good logo, which will be used in the future. The company name consists of my own name, so please see the following rules:
Rules:
- Company name: Danny Giebe
- simple, modern and professional logo
- color should be blueish or grayish, but I'm open to something new, if it looks good
- it needs to be scalable, so it should look good in small and very big
- it needs to work colored and in pure black/white.
- you can choose, if it's only a text based logo or a combination of picture/icon and text (maybe the icon can consist of my initials D & G - just an idea)
- maybe try to include something design oder development related to the icon. Feel free to be creative and don't stick purely to my words. ;)
- please provide an editable EPS & AI file at the end
- take your time, we have about 10 days, so think it through, do sketches and create a great logo
For further help, I've attached the current logo to this post. I will decide at the end of the contest, which logo will win, so everyone can take his time to create one. :) Don't hurry. Just create something good.
Looking forward to find the perfect new logo. :)
UPDATE: I've also attached some logos I like stylewise. Just see them as inspiration.

Company for design and development. Can't you design your own logo? What does your "design and development" company does? Making noodles?

There is a good rule: Don't design your own logo. Why? Because you will never finish it in a short time, because you won't be satisfied. Anyways, I'm more into App & UI Design and not into Logo Design. So it's good to outsource it. ;)
