Design an Advertisement for our BuddyCall app

We need an advertisement that will attract potential customers to come to our website and try out our new app - BuddyCall - which offers free and cheap international calls from a mobile/cell. Our product is designed for people who move often, who live some or all of the time in a different country from their home and family, who travel for work or who has family or friends abroad. Our ethos is to keep our marketing very friendly, very light and more about having fun that serious business.
We have a simple but super character, Buddy and now need to turn him/her into an advert that will communicate our message clearly. The website we may use the advert on is [login to view URL] Here you can find some adverts to compare with.
We have two options for this first advert, either:
1. Design a scrolling banner advert using the following text and attached image as a base:
and really cheap
international calls from your mobile,
wherever you are.

2. Design a scrolling banner advert using a famous, humorous quote, either:

**** We think that cartoon form is better than photographic form and that it is better to be a funny advert that overly professional ****
**** PLEASE DO change the way Buddy looks - he/she needs to remain as the orange circle with mouth but feel free to add clothes to him/her, features, speech etc. ****
