Contest Brief
Hello! I would like my product logo O-LINER re-designed to give it a new, more grown-up look (new brochure and web site overhaul will follow after this project). The product is a custom cut service tray liner. I attached the old logo file, as well as the product brochure to explain the product's functionality.
What I like in the old logo:
The letter O being part of the name as well as a stylized tilted tray with glassware on it (suggesting the main sales point that the product prevents slipping)
What I like changed:
It should be that the hyphen in the word O-LINER is more identifiable as hyphen in the name (some people call the product 'LINER' and not 'O-LINER'), yet also abstractly symbolizing an arm supporting the tray.
The orange and blue worked well, but after years of usage it looks a bit cheap, too cartoonish. I would like to get a sense of simple elegance and smartness (since the product is a smart investment to buy, accidents can be costly), classy and maybe a hint of luxury?
The design should be so the logo can be easily used on dark and light background, b/w print, embossed and beveled.
Files must be compatible to Illustrator 13 CS3 or Photoshop 10 CS3 (yes I didn't see the need to upgrade yet ;-)
Thanks and good luck!
