Hi there. Interesting contest. I'm attaching a short story I posted on a writing forum late last year but which has not been shared anywhere else. I can confirm it's entirely my own work. I figured that depending on what your angle is with the project, the story might provide you with some good visual imagery and brooding menace to work with, but without resorting to blood and guts.
