Contest Brief

This is a contest for the interior design of a bedroom with fire place and lounge area. All together named "studio" on the CAd plan. It has to be modern, masculine (it will be used by a young man ) and warm . I would like the 3 different areas to be distinctively express within the ceiling design/ different styles or materials/ plaster ceiling and wooden ceiling for instance . You can play a little bit with fusion of tradition or vintage elements in it. Lighting planning is important. And for information the bed is a king size bed and can be a 4 posters bed. I am posting few reference pictures. PDF of the plan view. CAD plan and a sketchup file . Please post genuine entries, posting portfolio will not make you eligible.

  You can but not the doors and windows. And not the fire place however the fir place can be along the wall and not a corner one. Just think that we don't want the TV above the fire place as there is accidents of the equipment melting because of the heat.
