Contest Brief

I would like to replace my sci-fi book's old cover with the new one.
Contest will require to provide the sample cover image with dummy title, slogan and author name. I will provide the winner with proper book info.
Along with final cover, the winner will also need to provide 3D cover and paperback images.

Book description:
The young astrophysicist Alan Norton was the first to discover that a luminous, like the sun, object in Earth’s orbit is an alien ship.
UN countries send a spaceship into orbit and include Alan in the expedition. During preparation for the flight, Alan began an affair with Marina - the pilot of the earthlings ship.
Planet Earth concludes a peace treaty with the deep space Intergalactic Union. Alan with Marina and another crew member are sent into deep space.
Alan becomes an officer in the Department of Contacts with civilizations newly discovered on the planets of the Union galaxies. He suggests approving the Program for creating living conditions on empty planets.
His offer is accepted. By Intergalactic Union Alan is appointed Program Manager and is going to change the universe.

Cover image suggestion:
The central story event is sending of Alan's team into deep space.
As a suggestion, on the cover you can show figures or a detailed image of Alan, Marina and the third participant moving along a transparent sleeve from the earthlings orbiting ship to the ship of aliens.
I am also open to consider any other design.

Aliens ship description (excerpt from the book's script):
A chaotic set of interconnected pyramids, balls and elongated prisms appeared before the astronauts.

    Dear contest holder, before you choose the winner ask from the designer for a proof that all materials he used are free for commercial purposes.
