Contest Brief

Concept art required. Living Root Bridge in a city.

Living Root Bridges are functional bridges that are grown from living trees. They exist in remote India and Indonesia. I want someone to design or photoshop one into a tropical city-scape like Singapore or Hong Kong.

You will need to Google/YouTube "Living Root Bridge" before you bid.

The concept art will be used for promotional purposes. The art needs to demonstrate people using a Living Root Bridge in a city. I want to see tourists taking selfies of the bridge. I want to see people walking on the bridge.
The art needs to be bright, happy, positive, motivational.

Rules/Requests:
1) I won't provide ongoing commentary on people's entries. I will select the best and move on. So please don't ask me to comment.
2) You must do a small amount of online research to understand what a Living root Bridge is. Entries will be judged on their similarity to actual living root bridge.
3) Please do not submit an entry if you don't understand the concept.

    Dear artists,

    If you haven't already submitted an entry, I think it is too late.

    Two artists have submitted VERY strong submissions and they have made a number of edits to tailor their entries. I really do not have the capacity to try and help another artist improve their submission. It would be VERY difficult for another artist to catch up. S

    o unless you are 100% positive that your entry is really, really awesome, then I think it is better you do not submit.

    I do not want you to waste your time and energy and be disappointed.

    Dear all, thank you so much for all your submissions. I have uploaded some photos of BANYAN trees to show you what they look like. It is these tree that are used to 'grow' Living Root Bridges. Please take note of the way the roots almost look as if they are 'liquid' and how they 'flow' over concrete. I want that effect in the picture please.

      Hi there man. I think that maybe the guys are still confused about the bidding thing because in the third paragraph of the contest's description there still is a reference to "making a bid", but I don't think is confusing at all, is common practice in the contests in this site, that despite there's usually one winner, one can try to "sell" your art/product to the contest holder. That is not EXACTLY a bid, but is a selling mechanism that is not far from that, as I understand it. Nothing to worry about. =)
