Guiding Light Books dot com is a boutique publishing company. We have two authors that need Cover art for their books.
1. NavyYardSurvivor.com, Jennifer Bennett has finished her book. The title is: Standing Still In A Culture of Mass Shootings The subtitle is: Navy Yard Shooting Survivor The &#039;by line&#039; is Jennifer Bennett with John Clark

The uploaded picture of Jennifer is at the exact spot in the stairwell that she was shot. The picture needs to be converted to Black and White. The b/w picture will be on the cover.

2. Shak Hill has authored the book: The Gun Owners Guide To Financial Planning with the subtitle of Using A BULLET To Strike Your Financial Target

NOTE: A BULLET is an acronym so it needs to be in all CAPS, although it may look better if italicized. Your choice.

DELIVERY

Files will be delivered in Adobe InDesign CS4 v.6 file as well as PDF. Each layer of art is to be delivered separately as a high quality jpg file.

The book is not "negative" nor is it "violent." The bullet holes don't work, but I do like the B/W background with the color image of Jennifer.

For the Gun Owner's Guide, the phrase A BULLET is an acronym that needs to have the same 'weight' and 'importance'. The "a" does not describe the bullet, but is an integral part of the phrase A BULLET.

Hello, the image attached is not in black and white it is color, if that is important at all. I could always make it B&W in photoshop. Beyond what is stated then I take it I should just come up with a creative design which includes this image? Is there samples of works/covers that you like that you could provide.
