Buzzy has just released a new Figma plugin https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/980407395621457657/Buzzy---No-Code-App-Builder that enables designers to create working web apps (native apps are in closed beta).
We need your help: In the past we've called on Freelancer's to help create some awesome examples, which has turned out great. For example see this Figma file https://www.figma.com/community/file/1032288001140341666 which creates a full working Health App that allows users to create Workouts, Meditations and Meal plans and has interactive capabilities like reviews, comments and ability to log workout sessions.
Due to the success of these we'd like to make some more of these examples for Figma users to see how Buzzy can be used to take their design and prototyping to the next level.
In terms of specific types of apps, we're pretty open, don't redo the existing examples https://www.figma.com/@buzzy - we're looking for new ideas. So your creativity counts. To start the thought process, here are some possible ideas: eCommerce/Shopping, Dashboard, Multi-page form or it could be a set of components that users can easily bind together to start to to build their own custom applications.
Feel free to use existing Figma files from the community to get started and turn into working apps https://www.figma.com/community/explore or create your own from scratch
Step 1 - It's really important you spend about an hour doing the tutorial to lean how the plugin works - Follow the Getting Started Guide: https://www.buzzycompany.com/getting-started Lessons 1 - 6 as this will give you a base. Also please duplicate the samples from https://www.figma.com/@buzzy, for example the Health App https://www.figma.com/community/file/1032288001140341666 and here's an example of the working version that was published by the plugin https://app.buzzycompany.com/app/5b10b219d930b00f75a76ecb note you can add new workouts, meal plans & meditations, create reviews, comments and activity logs.
This is how the Buzzy Figma Plugin works , feel free to play with some of the samples to see how the more complex samples work
Step 2 - Create your own unique web app/site ... be creative. Use the generated Buzzy UI (you'll get a link to it when you create your app in the plugin) to populate the site with data. Optionally you can connect your app to an external data source, like a Google Sheet or REST API. Be sure to include simple instructions / help in the file so a new user can duplicate it and use it themselves.
Step 3 - Send us your Figma files and URL of the generated apps.
Remember, these do not have be to complex as we want to use what you create as samples.
Be sure to get on the Slack channel to ask any questions: https://join.slack.com/t/buzzyfigmacommunity/shared_invite/zt-whn20rjp-t19q4JrPplR0VCRmG8fW6w
When we select a winner we'll need access to your file and would also like you to publish it to the Figma community and tag as "buzzy".
Note, if there are some good entries, we may select multiple winners.
