PLEASE NO COOKIE CUTTER ELEMENTS! Many of the submissions have been duplicates of others' designs or default templates. Please submit original work and new concepts only. Also, if you submit a design with multiple backgrounds please submit them all as one bundle. Its difficult to screen through hundreds of duplicate submissions where the logo is the same but the background has changed.
Our core business name is "Diamond Valley". This means we would like to see that as the main title to the business. There have been many submissions that placed emphasis on Diamond, but left Valley to the lower line... don't do this. We do like the idea of 2 lines, but require Diamond Valley to be the emphasis.
Business Name: Diamond Valley Lawn Care Services
Background Information: We service clients under recurring lawn care services including lawn mowing, edging, weed whacking, blowing, leaf collection, hedge and tree trimming, and much more. We are located in Northern California and work in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees F. Our work year can be considered 10 months of summer and we do not get much of a winter. The sun is always out bright here in beautiful California.
Things we WANT to have incorporated:
We are looking for a professional, premium looking logo for our lawn care business. This logo will need to be clear and visible from a distance as it will be used on trucks, trailers, shirts, business cards, and many other forms of advertising. As such, the logo needs to invoke feelings of trust and reliability. We are striving for a sleek and clean design that is also unique. Please make an attempt to convey we offer a premium service.
Things we want to AVOID:
We don't want to be seen as the average joe with a beat up pickup truck and a cheap mower.
Please avoid cartoon style characters. We are seeking a sense of realism and reliability. Avoid tacky themes.
Avoid features that gridlock the business to certain locations. For example, avoid California specific features such as the state outline or the state flag. We have hopes of future expansion and want a logo that can be fluid across any region.
One optional feature would be to create a unique mascot that will be seen across every element of the business.
Choose your own color scheme but make it fluid and avoid clashing colors. Anticipate the logo being applied to a white pickup truck and white enclosed trailer.
Optionally, you can consider finding a unique way to incorporate a diamond to reflect the business and brand name.
Business URL: dvlcs.com (not currently live, but can be used as an optional feature in the logo design)
