Contest Brief

I need someone to design a customized Family Badge.

On the files you will find an image with several icons, use it as your main north.

Here are the instructions:

- The icons represented with letters, must be put exactly in the given order;
- For the format of the badge you're totally free to design it, mine is just illustrative;
- For the *K, I just used that image to illustrate the snake and its position, but it should be silver with emerald eyes and on a blue savoy surface;
- As several family badges, this one should also contain a motto, to be placed in the far down of the badge, the motto is on the file;
- The flower should be placed right above the motto, it should be made as a garden, use the United Kingdom badge as your north;
- The bicephele eagle must be on the orthodoxy style and placed behind the badge, with its neck, shoulders and neck being visible, as well as the wings and the feet;
- The badge should also contain the three crosses illustrated on the image, the white on the red I would prefer to be used as link between the badge and the garden and motto, you could also add some small personal details of yours to this link, like putting some ornaments on it; The other two crosses I imagined as being much smaller than the first one, you are free to put them whether you want;
- On the motto, just write the letters "U" as "V" and all in Caps Lock, as Latin used to be written;
- The external must contain two snakes like the one on the *K holding the badge (not literally holding, but just one on the left and the other on the right of it), for it I have imagined them interlacing behind the badge and emerging from the garden. But you may do otherwise if you think it would be better your way;
- Finally, you are free to add any other small feature or ornament thoughout the exterior of the badge as you want.

As this is a complicated task I will pay well, though I may ask the winner to change some small details.

    In my humble opinion, you should simplify the badge.

    I supose you want to represent a lot of things, but you better should organize the concepts or the badge will seem so weird, it doesn't make sense to include seven lions for instance. Imagine you have to use the badget in a small size, you couldn't dicern all the small details in the drawings.

    Another possibility would be making a poster that included all the badges as family tree, but in the end thast's up to you.

      Thanks for your suggestions.

      Well, I'm well aware of this, but what I want to do with that is to symbolize all locations of my heritage, and each one with its disposition symbolizes one of my branches. I also have a simplified version for my badge, which is just the silver snake with some ornaments. But thanks.

      You may feel free to redesign them, the most important is to keep the symbolism.
