Contest Brief

The logo will be used for an academic workshop on "Multiview Relationships in 3D Data".

The logo should include the following word:
MVR3D2017

"2017" can be separate from "MVR3D".

The text "Multiview Relationships in 3D Data" should also appear (e.g. below).

The logo should preferably include multiple cameras surrounding a scene/object/circle.

Keywords: point clouds, 3D computer vision, global registration, multiview alignment, 3D reconstruction, 3D stitching

The topic of the workshop:
The recent improvements in the 3D sensing technologies have caused a remarkable amplification in the utilization of 3D data. 3D information has found tremendous use in Autonomous Driving, 3D Mapping, Quality Control, Drones and UAVs or Robot Guidance to name but a few applicative domains. These applications typically fuse different modalities such as range images, stereo triangulations, structure-from-motion reconstructions or laser scans. A common flexible representation governing all these are point clouds.
