Contest Brief

I need a currency symbol for a cryptocurrency designed. The theme should be biotech, it should be simple and clean. My current thought on this is a DNA double helix with a vertical line or two through it, or something akin to the attached image without the taper, and generally simpler.

It should look good at low resolutions and in only black/white or black/white/grey. Additionally, I would like multiple styles of the symbol (e.g. akin to https://image.freepik.com/free-icon/bitcoin-digital-currency-symbol_318-53073.jpg vs the 3d glyph in the blue button on https://bitcoin.org/en/.)

Finished results should include the following formats and resolutions:
-psd
-png with transparent background at resolutions of 14px tall (however wide it comes to), 16x16, 24x24, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256, and 512x512
-png resolutions under 24x24 are only required for the non-3d variation of the symbol, but it would be nice to have it for the 16x16 version as well if it looks nice.
-svg format suitable for low res and high res scaling of symbol.

Generally the symbol should feel like a currency symbol when you look at it, but be distinct and convey that it is related to biotech.

Please be sure to include multiple scales with your entry so I can tell if it will look good at font sizes through large sizes.

UPDATE: Please put submissions in the format of the attached sizes.png to make them easier to review, I'll walk through issues with specific resolutions for submissions in this format which have their original counterparts highly ranked. I will need submissions within this format for the final round of voting to pick a contest winner.
