Contest Brief

We are looking for a set of 8 unique black superheroes. We would like you to be creative. We are looking for different characters that promote black culture. Start with a couple of superheroes and we will give you feedback from there.

VERY IMPORTANT: All artwork must be limited to 8 colors. Each color should be on its own layer in illustrator, using pantone colors.

We have attached a couple example photos. You can do what you would like as far as style is concerned. We are looking for quality work. In the end, we will want 5 male superheroes and 3 female superheroes. Each should have black hairstyles.

    TeodoroQ is an excellent and consistent artist, but again: A contest holder that request complete an specific tasks and to ends awarding the prize to an incomplete art. This is one weak point in Freelancer contests.

    The limit is 8 colors per character, but you can use halftones (half tones) if that helps.

    Are you only going to award this to someone who produces 8 characters. Or are you going to award people who have single character entries?

      The award would go to someone who did all 8 characters. We would give feedback on a couple and then expect all 8 by the end. If you just do a character or a few, and we like them, we would consider purchasing them after the contest is closed.

    One note, each hero can have 8 colors of their own. You do not need to limit 8 colors for all 8 characters. This will allow diversity in costumes, skin tones, hair color, etc.

      It depends if we will be able to separate the colors on their own layer. We need to be able to screenprint these shirts. If you sent us a sample file, we could check to make sure it is workable.
