Contest Brief

HiddenWorld is not a typical travel brand. It is a discovery brand built around hidden stories, overlooked places, unusual landmarks, strange objects, and intellectual curiosity.
This is a content-first, product-driven digital brand, and the logo will become the core identity across all materials.
I am not looking for decoration.
I am looking for a concept-driven logo with meaning.

What I Need
• A distinctive, original logo for HiddenWorld
• A design that communicates mystery, discovery, and depth
• A logo that feels like there is something beneath the surface
• A mark that works across digital platforms and scales well

Creative Direction
• Themes: hidden, secret, unknown, discovery, curiosity
• Style: minimal, refined, modern, intelligent
• Tone: premium but accessible, intriguing but not dark
Designers are encouraged to explore:
• Negative space
• Dual meaning
• Subtle symbolism
• Hidden elements or layered concepts

How the Logo Will Be Used
The logo will serve as the core identity of the brand.
It will appear consistently across:
• Social media posts (Instagram, Pinterest)
• Visual content and graphics
• Videos (as a visible stamp or signature)
• Website and landing pages
• Email branding
• Digital products (PDF guides)
It will often be used as a stamp or overlay on content, so it must:
• Remain clear and recognizable at small sizes
• Work across different backgrounds
• Be clean and not visually heavy
• Maintain strong identity even when subtle

What Will NOT Be Accepted
• Generic travel icons (planes, globes, location pins)
• Stock-based, copied, recycled, or template-style logos
• AI-generated logos
• Overdesigned, cluttered, or overly complex concepts
• Anything that looks like a tourism agency or generic page
AI-generated, stock-based, copied, or template-style logo submissions will be dismissed immediately. Only original, designer-created concepts will be considered.

What Will Win
• A strong original concept, not just execution
• A logo that creates curiosity or pause
• Clean, minimal, and well-balanced design
• Strong typography and/or a powerful symbol
• A design that is simple, scalable, and memorable
• A mark that works well as a content stamp

Color Direction
• Black and white base preferred
• Neutral tones are welcome
• Elegant, muted accents can be explored
• Avoid bright, playful, or overly trendy colors

Deliverables
• AI, EPS, SVG source files
• PNG (transparent background)
• Black and white version
• Icon / favicon / profile version
• Horizontal and stacked variations (if relevant)
