Contest Brief

I’m launching a Japanese-inspired sport chronograph line called IKON and need a signature logo that feels instantly powerful. The mark must centre on a single Samurai sword—no crossed blades or helmets—rendered in a traditional style that communicates strength.

Think clean, silver-toned geometry that can be laser-etched into a steel bezel, embossed on the clasp and printed on packaging. The watch itself carries blue or silver hands, a red sweep second, and red-ringed sub-dials, so the logo should sit comfortably beside those colours; a primary monochrome version with the option for subtle red accents will cover most applications.

Deliverables
• Scalable vector artwork (AI, EPS, PDF) plus high-res PNG and SVG
• Monochrome silver version and an accent-ready colour version
• Basic usage guide showing clear space, minimum size and example placement on a brushed steel dial

Please keep the lines precise and avoid excessive ornamentation so the design remains legible even when reduced to 5 mm on the crown. Mock-ups on a metal watch face or clasp will help me judge texture and clarity. I’m happy to answer any questions as you refine the concept.

CH, you need to watch out, most entries are going to be AI generated, 99% AI, these scammers will post HUNDREDS of AI images each but you can spot them, watch out for them dropping all entries super fast. Keep in mind a hand crafted design takes time to create, so multiple different entries in a row is impossible. The easiest way to spot them is typing their name into 'Search Entries' so you can see their pattern of spamming and how fast they are posting entries. ALWAYS SEARCH NAMES. I can not stress this enough, every single entry you like the look of, SEARCH NAME.
