Contest Brief

Contest Prize is $3,000+ if Kickstarter goal is reached. This is for marketing/promoting the official GoBirth App Kickstarter at [login to view URL] The pay/prize is 10% of the total pledges only if the Kickstarter goal is reached of $30,000. Pledges CAN exceed the goal, and you will get 10% of all the pledges. For example, if it earns 1,000 percent over the goal, that is $250,000 in pledges, and you will be paid $25,000. If the Kick-starter receives $30,000 in pledges, you will be paid $3,000. You will ONLY be paid/awarded the prize IF the Kickstarter reaches its goal of $30,000 (by Thu, February 7 2019 9:23 PM PST). The current goal is at $30,000, and there are 27 days remaining on the Kickstarter (as of 1/11/2019). Only 1 freelancer will be awarded. This is intended to be a contest to allow the best freelancer in Kickstarter marketing to be awarded, and we want to make sure that the freelancer is fairly selected that caused the goal to be met. To be entered in the contest and later prove your work caused the goal to be reached, you must send in a copy of your intent to promote the Kickstarter anytime between now and by January 18th, 2019 (20 days remaining on the kick starter). You can start working on marketing/promoting the Kickstarter anytime after you enter the contest. Then on Thur, February 7 2019 after 9:23 PM PST, and if the goal was reached, you must then step forward to state that you caused the goal to be reached. At the end of the contest and Kickstarter, the freelancer will need to provide to have provided the best marketing/promoting work that caused the Goal to be met. The freelancer that provided the best marketing/promoting will then be paid. Again, only 1 freelancer will be awarded. You will be paid after we receive the pledge funds, as you will be paid from the pledge funds. If the kickstarter earns under $30,000 that means the goal is not met, and you will NOT be paid. We also do not get the funds if the goal is not met. You may also submit design ideas/html code for the Kickstarter Page if you wish and feel it will improve the marketing and pledges. Improved photos and videos are also welcome, but you must still put work into marketing/promoting the Kickstarter, as that is the objective of this contest. May the best freelancer be awarded, and let's hope for the GoBirth Kickstarter goal to be met and surpassed! Thank you!

You should earn your money by yourself, via Kickstarter only. Thats how it works. If nobody wants to support your project then its like that. So asking people to work for free for you so you get your money maybe is a fraud for us Freelancers. Start with beliving in your project instead and hope people like it and invest - thats how kickstarter works.

  This contest is intended to give an experienced freelancer a fair opportunity to prove marketing skills and take on a challenge. There are actually very large crowdfunding marketing agencies that do take on marketing kickstarters and will only charge if the kickstarter goal is met. They charge a percentage of total pledges after the goal is met. Therefore, its not an uncommon practice for a very skilled marketer to determine if they are willing to take the challenge of marketing a kickstarter Not to mention, we have clearly indicated in the contest and project description that the freelancer is only paid if the kickstarter goal is met. Therefore, the freelancer fairly knows the challenge they are accepting by entering into the contest.

In response to the last remarks, the best freelancer will win the prize if the kickstarter goal of $30,000 is met. Only those that place an entry in the contest will be eligible to win, and only 1 will be selected. If the goal is not met, it simply means no one was able to successfully promote this kickstarter, and there is no winner. And just as a prior poster mentioned, its even possible for $1,000,000 to be earned within 30 days with an idea. If that were to happen with this Kickstarter, one of the freelancers that entered this contest will be selected and win $100,000. The baby/pregnancy/birthing audience is very large, and it can be reached with this kickstarter if marketed properly. To get that many pledges, a large audience would need to be reached be an excellent marketer with great social networking/marketing skills. There is nothing with the audience type that is limiting this kickstarter from doing well. It simply needs a freelancer that is excellent in marketing.

Not a good contest. Do you really want a lot of freelancers to do all the job for free, and then when the deadline is reached convince you who did best. Sorry, I wont even try. Good luck :)

You're crazy and have no idea on how succesful crowdfunding campains work. First of all the marketing budget. With no money your idea should be a bomb and become viral. But this "app" is for to a very small niche, so you need a digital marketer who's able to set the best strategy. And you need a marketing budget to pay the ads. Need money to make money and you are crazy if you think someone will spend a lot of his time trying to make ads with 0 money. I'm sure you'll get some proposals, from desperate who have no idea on how to manage a good campain.

  (sequel) Are you sure your idea can work? I didn't read all the docs, but I already found some weak points. Is your app ready? Create a start-up is good. What you have to know is that when you make a crowdfunding campain it's because you already made that idea. You want to get 30k in 27 days...is it a joke? There are ideas which get 1 million $ in less than 1 month, but your target audience is too small to make those numbers. You would get 1k every day without spending a single dollar before. Goodluck
