Contest Brief

I'm looking for some logo concepts for a new clothing label called "Black League Apparel".

Not to be confused with Black Lives Matter, BLA will be a social activism brand with a primary focus on issues surrounding Freedom, Surveillance, Free Speech, and Medical Autonomy that are currently being globally threatened under the guise of "Covid-19".

The term "Black League" derives from an alleged underground resistance movement on the planets of the Orion Nebula during a period known as "The Orion Wars" - with "Black" specifically referring to their ability to operate undetected in the shadows.

The font I've used here is called "Barlow Condensed", which I generally like the overall look of, but I'm open to other possibilities.

I'd prefer the logo centred between the words "Black" & "League", but I'm also open to other options. Apparel can be added to the right as pictured, or placed centrally below the logo in smaller text.

A few ideas for inspiration:

- An upside down triangle (symbolising our global power structure, reversed to the 99%), 3D simplified fist punching half way through the top of it, and 3 lines of a light globe for the wrist.

- A geometric (possibly 3D) letter formation comprising of B & L, or B, L, and A, within a shape for framing or not.

- The use of expanding WiFi waves representing speech or voice.

- Despite the links to Orion, try avoiding using stars if possible. I've tried it & they don't really work.

That's all the ideas I've got for now, so I'll leave the rest to you. Happy designing.
