     Indeed! Just like Scott Baker reworked Microsoft's logo back in 1994 with a slash between the letters "o" and "s". Don't ask how much they paid for it.
     I think you are lacking buying the messages behind logos!
     
     For the record, if I had the arrow placed on any other letter of the company name, it would not have worked. Savvy? :)
     
     Btw, I just wonder why would you make a few efforts on your concepts incorporating that tiny arrow if it is in sooth worthless ACCORDING TO YOU!

  Thanks to everyone! I always support the idea that 'luck' precedes 'talent'. However, if you'd followed Contest Holder's brief, then you would have sought your luck as well but intermingled with knowledge/idea. Also, I am certain many of you know the idiom 'The early bird catches the worm". It is the same in this case at this contest. (A great number of submissions missed going through the brief). All you had to do was by coming up to an idea that fits in companies lines using the same logo and typeface. No Illustrative or Iconic logo type was asked as displayed on "Preferred Logo Type section", and, the textual type logos are the hardest to make if you are an artist to judge in logo types.
  Finally, after everyone sees a finished logo, they say "I can do this". Who says you can't........? ;)

  I'm sorry, I must be blind. this looks the same as the original except the tiny little arrow......Don't even think an old customer will even notice the change.
