Contest Brief

Hello,

We are a sporting goods and outdoor company located in Miami, FL. The name of our company is Cutthroat Gear, INC. Our company will be built around the water sports industry focusing on fishing and diving. Our company will carry knives, tools, gear and outdoor and boating equipment but our main focus will be knives and tools for boating. Such as pliers and filet knives and bait knives.

We are looking for someone to help us with our logo and branding. The idea we are going for is an outlined Yellowfin Tuna fish in black and white. We did a sketch for you below but would like something better and more sleek. We would then want a red X over the eye (implying that he is dead how they do in cartoons), and the tuna's throat sliced open/cut (Cutthroat) in red with 2-3 drops of blood coming from the throat. We would also like the words Cutthroat Gear nicely done. Maybe you can modify the tuna fish to have a modern/ futuristic look or Japanese traditional tattoo feel. Please look at attachments for references.
