Contest Brief
Purpose
Arbour is retiring “Investments” and operating as “Arbour,” reflecting its evolution into a full-spectrum real estate investment platform. This brief defines a new primary logo that preserves existing brand equity while signalling this expansion. All design decisions must be traceable to this document. Arbour provides end-to-end real estate solutions across structured credit, regulated fund management, and development execution. We operate with institutional discipline and on-ground expertise, covering the full value chain.
The Existing Mark — The Gandiva
The Gandiva, Arjuna’s divine bow, represents precision, discipline, and dharmic purpose. It is the brand’s strongest asset and must be retained and refined, not replaced.
What Works
Distinctive form, clean geometry, strong navy authority, and scalability.
What Evolves
Removal of “Investments,” refined proportions for “ARBOUR,” and a complete, system-ready identity.
What Arbour Stands For
Precision in capital deployment, full-cycle accountability, institutional governance with relationship depth, and long-term, purpose-driven ambition.
Audience
Capital allocators, developers, and institutional partners. The brand must signal trust, competence, and credibility at first glance.
Design Direction
Colour is restricted to Navy (#0D1B4B) and White (#FFFFFF). No additions without approval.
Wordmark: “ARBOUR” in Segoe UI Bold, all caps, with refined spacing and proportions.
Gandiva: Mandatory element, only refined for clarity and proportion.
No gradients, additional colours, real estate imagery, or non-compliant typography.
Evaluation Criteria
Concepts are scored on Gandiva fidelity, brand alignment, wordmark precision, scalability, versatility, and traceability. Minimum qualifying score: 72/100, with no individual score below 5.
Deliverables
Primary logo (navy and white), reversed versions, symbol-only, wordmark-only, and monogram.
Formats: .ai, .svg, .png (multi-resolution), favicon sizes.
Brand standards: usage rules, spacing, typography, colour codes.
Mockups: print, digital, and physical applications.
