Contest Brief

I am looking for a minimalist logo/logomark for my YouTube channel where I will be creating educational videos for screenwriters.

I want the channel to feel like an inviting community that demystifies the craft of screenwriting for aspiring writers looking to break into the film and TV industry.

My idea for a logo consists of a minimalist/simplified vintage typewriter where the keys are replaced with a minimalist/simplified film strip. I think I would like a 3/4ths view of the typewriter, similar to the attached example, but am definitely OPEN TO OTHER PERSPECTIVES AND IDEAS.

The logo should be roughly square in its overall footprint, but should not have sharp angles itself (it needs to feel friendly).

Typography is not needed (it will be added inhouse)

The logo should be a single color such that it's legible as black on white.
