The cover should incorporate significant objects that are meaningful to my story. Key Requirements: - Modern design style - Inclusion of significant objects on the cover Ideal Skills & Experience: - Strong portfolio in modern book cover design - Ability to creatively integrate significant objects - Experience with typography and layout for autobiographies Please share your portfolio and relevant experience. My autobiography is about my loving childhood as a "girly girl" growing up on farms with close family ties with my parents and grandparents. My career as a chef and my passion for great food. Also my marriage which broke down after 25 years (affecting my son and daughter also) due to my ex husbands alcoholism and secret life (he was hiding his same-sex infidelity). The book title is "My a la carte life" written by Carol Smith. I wondered about a sub heading "the courses of my years" but I am unsure if this is neccessary. I am looking for a simple, yet effective and vibrant cover. Something that makes a reader want to pick it from the shelf. Please include the full cover front, spine and back. I can add a blurb, ISBN etc at a later date. My book size is 8 inches x 5.25 inches (13.34 cm x 20.32cm) I thank anyone who gives this a go and please know I appreciate your time and energy. The first thing to do is type any name into "Search Entries" and check the number in brackets next to "All", that's the precise number of entries they've posted into your competition. Hand crafted designs take considerable time and creative effort, so if that number looks extreme, it was not made by a person.
