Contest Brief
This is a contest, winner will be a Entry that fits all requirements. Not AI Generated illustration, you have to proove, that you have a working solution, we can implement directly.
We are extending our existing avatar frontend with a realistic, viseme-capable face rendered as a particle overlay.
⚠️ Important:
This must be integrated into our existing avatar system and viseme pipeline — not built as a standalone prototype.
All required reference materials, objects, and assets are included in the uploaded files.
You are expected to use these objects as the foundation (geometry, proportions, placement, and color scheme).
Required Implementation
1. Particle Face Renderer
Lightweight, browser-ready renderer (Three.js/WebGL or equivalent)
Must be embedded into our existing avatar scene
Face construction must be based on the provided objects/assets
2. Viseme Integration
Input: our viseme/phoneme events (with timing)
Output: frame-accurate lip sync
❌ No custom TTS or phoneme engine
✅ Provide an adapter for our event format
Must use real-time timing, not pre-rendered animation
3. Eye Control (API Required)
Gaze target (look-at system)
Blink behavior (configurable + randomized)
Saccades / micro-movements
4. Expression System
Must support:
Neutral
Joy
Anger
Surprise
Sadness
Smooth transitions between states
Priority-safe blending with visemes (no mouth conflicts)
Demo Requirement (MANDATORY)
Each submission must include at least ONE working demo (HTML or live preview):
Viseme playback (timeline-driven)
Eye tracking controls
Emotion blending
Usage of the provided objects/assets
⚠️ Important:
Screenshots alone will NOT be considered
Screenshots are not proof of implementation
Only real, verifiable demos will be evaluated
⚙️ Technical Constraints
High performance on desktop and modern mobile browsers
Stable FPS with adaptive quality
Controlled particle count and texture sizes
Clean, structured, and documented code
Must handle:
Missing viseme events → fallback behavior
Delayed timing → hold/neutral state
Deliverables
Production-ready module integrated into our avatar frontend
Clean API documentation:
Methods
Event format
Timing assumptions
Demo page with reproducible test cases:
Viseme sequences
Emotion presets
Proper use of the uploaded objects/assets
Key Expectation
This is a real-time system integration task, not a design contest.
Your submission must clearly demonstrate:
Real implementation
Technical understanding
Compatibility with an existing pipeline
Recommended Skills
Employer Feedback
“took some time, but in the end, im satisfied with the work and price”
