Redesign website background image to be more modern and brighter

Contest Brief

We have a website background which depicts a globe. This has worked up till now, but we would like to redesign it to make the website look brighter, cleaner and more modern.
We want to keep the globe or map idea to suggest a global company. We need the main colours to be white, orange and blue - keeping if possible to the blue and orange colours in our logo. We use Pantone 021 and 299.
We would like the map centred on the UK, as this is where our headquarters are.
I have attached 2 versions of the old background we have used - one is brigher that we have used for the front page, and we have used the darker one for the other pages. We would prefer to use the same background throughout. Our website is www.ivo-group.com so you can see the layout there.
Use your skills and imagination to produce a bright modern version of our background!

Some Extra notes to help comptetitors:

1) Centre the map on the UK
2) Show the whole world if possible
3) stick with our main company colours.
4) Investigate the possibility of outlines, instead of the whole map being coloured?

Entry no 1 looks quite modern, but is too dark on the colours. Entry no's 5 and 6 have too many colours. We need to stick to white and orange as our main colours and also blue.
