Contest Brief

We need the attached graphics re imagined and redone for our own uses. It is an illustration of the xylem and phloem in plants. We want to use it to discuss nutrients and energy movement throughout the plant system. key information that need to be present is:
- the upward flow if the xylem and the up and down flow of the phloem
- the companion cells and sieve tube elements of the phloem
- the movement of carbohydrates (sugars) in the phloem
- the movement of nutrients in the phloem
- the direction of movement in the phloem is from source to sink
We are looking for an illustration that is appealing be also converts the necessary information in a professional way. The graphic will need to be in a high quality format for high resolution printing.

I was really excited about this project at first because it is a topic I'm very familiar with; but I noticed that the project wasn't guaranteed and you had yet to rate or leave feedback for the other entrants. I just don't think I'm comfortable starting on this without a guarantee.

  the attached images are for reference as to the type of image we are looking for. the final image does not need to have ALL components from each attached image but does need to have the key components listed and another that seem relevant.
