    First off all... thank you all for your submissions. It sucks someone had to win... and EVERYONE else had to lose.... but me and Addam have budget for just one design and we have made our decision. We tried to have an open and honest dialog with you all... specifically the top contenders to had the best chance to win... but your designs fell short of the winner in OUR opinion.

      From a buyer's perspective, projects are a mixed bag. I've had projects drag on for MONTHS once a person was awarded... with little or no recourse. I once awarded a winner based on his portfolio... and went on to suck.. and suck badly on his deliverables. If I asked for revisions, he would want more money. Contests demonstrate you can take direction AND deliver on time with high quality. It keeps guys like me... who post jobs.. happy. Because I was done with Freelancer based on those experiences. Now I can tell all my filmmaking buddies and fans of this film to come here without hesitation.

      Last but not least... I will totally hit u up Monkey in the future. I saw your blog... Mecha Girl.. .Amazon Warrior... lots of cool stuff... much respect. Talk soon.... Derek

      I don't want to extend a lot this but I get clarify what I said... It's really allowed to give feedback, but it's not a professional behavior. I think everyone that keep sending designs, despite have great talent, are beginners and don't know how to valorize them own works. It's like you do a film for a festival, but the festival ask you to change the script and remake some scenes and them award another movie... You had bad experiences with freelancers, but usually the portfolio and experience are enough to know if the work is gonna go well or not. The basis of the work is the previous brief. If the freelancer doesn't keep the agreements and quality, unfortunatelly, you did a bad choice, he's not a professional.... But if you ask something beyond the brief, it's normal to want more money. If you'd ask me changes in composition in this contest, I'd respectfully deny, for instance.

    Oh well, my design does not get any feedback and rating. sad.
    It seems the chosen artwork does not resemble any graphic novel or comic book pattern?

    #103 I won't get a chance to do any more polishing on this before the deadline, damn day job. So this is the final. Still can see some things I can work on, but it's pretty close to done.

    Im still working on my design, many details missing yet but #85 heres one preview of the work, i will finish it before the end the dead line for this contest. the composition of the informations (name producers etc...) still unfinished just mount it up to get the filling. If you have any sugestions please do it.

      #69 : DVD cover should give reference to the actual movie that lies inside. Don't you think? This cover is misleading. It would be like putting a Terminator on the outside of a romantic comedy

      We want a gritty comic book cover... not a cartoon character. You cover should look like a comic book you would TAKE from a small child. It should not look like a comic book that your BUY for a small child
