Contest Brief

I’m launching a fast-turnaround contest to create a modern, sleek logo for my automotive mechanics company. The design should immediately communicate precision engineering and trust, while feeling fresh and professional rather than old-fashioned garage art.

Name: Big Garage

Style
• Modern and streamlined lines or shapes—no retro wrenches or tire mascots unless they’re treated in a clean, minimal way.
• The mark must work both as a standalone icon and alongside the company name.

Colour palette
Blue, gray, white and black are all in play. Feel free to explore single-colour or multi-colour combinations of those four tones, provided the final result remains crisp and easy to reproduce on signage, uniforms and digital media.

Deliverables (winner)
• Vector master files: AI or EPS plus an editable PDF
• Web & print exports: SVG, transparent PNG, high-res JPG
• Brief style guide: colour values (CMYK, RGB, HEX) and fonts used

Acceptance criteria
1. Logo stays recognisable and legible at 2 cm height and in monochrome.
2. All artwork is 100 % original and transfer-ready for trademark registration.
3. Final files delivered within 48 hours of selection.
