Contest Brief
I’m ready to pull together a cohesive, open-plan living area that flows from the main lounge to the dining zone and a small conversation spot in front of the beverage bar. The overall vibe I want is transitional modern—clean, current lines mixed subtly with classic touches—anchored in a calm, neutral palette that will age gracefully.
Here’s what I need from you:
• A space-planning layout that clearly shows traffic flow between the living room, dining table with chairs, and the bar-side seating nook.
• Scaled furniture plan with dimensions so I can purchase or custom order pieces confidently.
• Mood boards and material suggestions that translate the neutral tones into layered textures (feel free to recommend wood, metal, or upholstered options where they make the most sense).
• 3D visuals or photorealistic renders so I can preview the final look before committing.
• A concise sourcing list—retail links or specifications for each major item, lighting, and décor accents.
- the bar cabinets are installed and are peppercorn gray
- the marble fire place is already installed and is marble as shown in rendering.
Acceptance criteria
1. Layout maximizes circulation and keeps sightlines open from kitchen to patio doors.
2. Furnishings respect the transitional modern style with no single piece feeling too ornate or ultra-minimal.
3. Neutral scheme shows at least three value variations and two complementary textures to avoid a flat appearance.
4. Renderings accurately reflect proposed finishes and lighting temperature.
I’ll share room measurements, existing architectural plans, and a few inspiration images as soon as we start. Looking forward to seeing how you pull this vision together.
