Contest Brief

I require a creative and talented Graphic Designer to create a unique T-Shirt artwork for me. This project will be the first of many so I am seeking to build a great working relationship with the winner as there may be future requests.

Requirements:
A unique and appealing design featuring a Volkswagen Kombi in some way. You could use any of the many different VW Kombi models however I would suggest using the models from about 1958 to 1978. It should have a retro look with relevant graphics to your design which must be able to be recognised easily for a medium distance away. The design will be printed on TShirts and other products so keep this in mind. The Tshirt colour will predominantly be either white, grey or another light colour. However don't let this limit your imagination. If you have an awesome design that would work well on a black tshirt then send it in - it could be the winner. Usage of photographic images is perfectly acceptable if you own the rights to the original images and release them for commercial use for this product and it works well with the design.
Please don't withdraw your entries as I will most likely want to purchase many of the designs. I'm happy to answer questions if you have any.
All work must be your own original work and no part may be copied or reproduced from other designers under any circumstances. All designs must comply with Freelancer terms and conditions. You must own the rights to any images that are used in your design and relinquish reproduction rights at the completion of the project. The design must be at least 2400×3200 pixels, PNG format with a transparent background and a copy in JPEG format at high resolution is also required to be supplied in the handover files.     Hi, please check entry # 31. I am going to submit more entries before the contest ends. Please note that the background for this entry was done entirely on photoshop. The woman and the Volkswagen Kombi were sketched with pencil and painted on photoshop.

    I just wana ask the work will be original but can we you use volkswagen Pic from the internet and tweak it or we have to illustrate the car ourself?

      Its up to you but you need to be compliant with Freelancer terms and conditions on image usage. In the contest brief it does say unique, so even if you tweak the image, its not going really be unique. For the record I have rejected entries where the design is an obvious copy as it does not demonstrate any creativity or individuality which my customers want.
