Since the company is going to cater to the Indian audience and since the target group is the pre-owned car buyers, a Hindi tagline will be a good choice for positioning. Also, CAReed is the word play on Khareed i.e. buy in English. So it would give the customers a sense that they are buying a vehicle for themselves (a pride despite the pre-owned vehicle). The slogan 'Steer close to your dream' touches upon the fact that it is a dream for the customer to buy a car and since 95% of the buyers would be the ones driving, the word 'steer' would bring up a sense of control in their hands.
