We have an old Disk system that we are trying to read. I have written C code so that it can take a Logic Analyser capture of a Microcontroller creating a valid Disk pattern and it decodes it perfectly, if I use an Actual Disk drive capture then due to drive Jitter my C code fails to decode the drive data correctly. The MFM data is valid as an original machine loads the MFM from the Disk perfectly, it is merely my program that does not compensate. Notice the Data is a continuous single track, i.e. spiral as opposed to multiple tracks.
