Currently we have a visual fox pro system that is not online. What we want is a POS that can register the basic transactions (Sale, Buy, Traspass, etc) into the ERP. From the ERP we just want also the basic reports from the transactions. I am planning on implementing Openbravo POS for a friends store and the software is fantastic. There is only one problem. It does everything we need it to do except services. I want to be able to add a service such as a hair cut or whatever other service would be needed. I am not too familiar with Java (at least not enough to modify it myself) and i am in a bit of a time crunch here. I need this done as soon as possible but since its only adding a services feature (similar to the products except it wont need to keep track of inventory qty etc) its for a friends small business and i was helping him out for free so i wasn't planning on paying anything for the software but in this case i have budgeted anywhere from $50.00 to $150.00 USD

Found Open Bravo and downloaded, and found it needs a lot of customisation to ...(15 permanent, 15 casual staff) involved in fabrication and supply of goods for Rail projects. MYOB works for accounts, payroll etc, and we have are using the inventory to track items and are using customised forms for quotes, job sheets, delivery dockets and invoices. The problem is that MYOB does not really help once the job is quoted and needs to get to the factory floor. I'm looking for a coder that will create a custom theme. I like SugarCRM a lot but I do not like the layout. I find that all of the themes offered on are too box-y and too busy. I'd like a theme created that looks like the UI for openbravo. If you go to openbravo dotcom and select demo, you will see the interface I like. There would be colour changes required. Once logged in to the demo you can goto: Sales Management > Simple Sales Order This will show what I am looking for. For now, I have attached a snapshot.
