I want to use a pier and beam instead of traditional foundation because of a large tree that is near where the garage will be located. This ideally will minimize the need to hack through large roots. Hi Simion. I am Pierre Goosen living in Borso del Grappa, Italy. I have a small workshop where I need a small concrete slab at the new entrance door. The slab will span over the old basement skylights. On the one side it will lay on top of an upstand beam and the the other side will be doweld in and I guess on an angle bracket. The spand is only 670mm, and 3000mm width along the workshop. I am a builder myself so I intend on doing the work myself. I need someone to give me the reinforcement details. We only need to calculate the expansion. In attachment you can see the drawings. For the crossing the architect wants to work with a wooden laminated beam or an LVL beam. After confirmation I will send you the full set of plans. I don't need you to draw everything again, If I know the sections and the materials to use, that's enough for me. I need to build a count up timer using Arduino . For example : if using a laser beam or photo electric sensor.. once the beam or connection is broken the timer starts and once the beam or connection is solid or connected the timer stops. I need to program steps in the process. For example : after the timer hits 4 minutes a notification comes across on a TV that says "perform this step" and 2 minutes later at 6 minutes "perform the next step"... So it gives instructions to the user. The data should be recorded to a spreadsheet afterwards.
