We have a video website which is based on Yii framework version 1.1.12. The PHP version is 5.6 and the MySQL version is 5.5.61. This is functioning well and is currently live. We would like to upgrade this website to the Yii 2 Framework and also upgrade to PHP 8. We will keep the current functionalities and look and feel for the website as it is. We are looking for a freelancer who can complete the project for us in a timely manner. Please read the attached document to get more information on the migration. We are forking a YII project on github, that has mostly been abandoned. There are (2) task. - Video included. #1 download and install version 7.1 from github. As shown in the video I want the "Updater" to No longer look to the current update server but to our own. Then as mentioned in the video - I want the exact same update/check and (files/db/etc) and then update to happen, be able to be done from, "our server" in order for this to be considered a completed task. #2 once we have the latest version I will need to convert that into the newest 8.5 installer version for us.
