I’m looking for a careful, well-equipped removalist to collect a single two-seater recliner from my home and deliver it to another address here in town. The lounge has removable back rests, so a quick disassembly on pick-up will make manoeuvring through standard doorways easy. I need a ute-and-driver combination but have 2 young kids already to do most of the heavy lifting. I need to clear out most of an apartment that’s accessible only by stairs. The load includes the heaviest and most awkward being a 2 seater recliner, several appliances and a stack of packed boxes and bags. You’ll be responsible for arriving with a suitably sized ute in Burnie, helping move some things up the stairs, securing it safely for transport and driving it to the storage facility in Somerset. For three consecutive days (about 5–6 hours each day) I need an extra set of strong hands to shift the contents of sixty fully stocked hardcover bookcases from my current bookstore to our new premises just two doors away. The work is straightforward but physical: lift books off the shelves, load them onto a rolling cart, wheel the cart down the corridor, then re-shelve the books in the new location.
