For example, you may choose to discuss the implications of Smuts’ proposals through the lens of feminist theory, a cultural anthropologist, a Freudian psychologist, a social policymaker, or a legal/criminal justice practitioner. All of these perspectives have both historical and current standpoints on male aggression that differ from or run completely contrary to Smuts’ evolutionary approach. In sum, this assignment requires you to first clearly present Smuts’ arguments, and then evaluate and critique the implications of her arguments from the perspective of the disciplinary theory or area of practice you have chosen to take Your essay should be about 10 to 12 pages (approximately 2500 to 3000 words), not including a title page, references list, or bibliography.
