I have extensive experience as a grant writer- a successful grant writer. I understand the need to identify skills and competencies that match up with what the funder is looking for.
Also, I am by training an educator and trainer. I understand the idea of targeted training- as a person who tends to think outside the box, I often identify new and relevant skills, and opportunities for using them, that make my applications stand out.
Finally, I have just helped my daughter complete 11 college applications, and nearly 20 scholarship applications, all involving essays that identify gifts and skills, and interests. We won't know about the scholarships until next week, but she did get into 11 out of 11 colleges and universities she applied to. I can't take credit for that, but I discussed each essay with her prior to her writing it, and went over the essay when it was completed to help her to expand and expound.
I would expect that you would be able to, in some fashion, provide details about the training, your interest in it, and what you bring to the table. I can do the rest.
Regardless, best of luck.
Thanks.
