Hi trial offer micro server, its very difficult to run apps on it. I will suggest at least use medium instance. Cost will depend upon the number of hours server will be running. If you need the server to be available more than 12 hours a day, I will suggest to use reserved instance. Please feel free to contact me if you have any queries.

This project looks simple and I think if can be done in couple of hours. Just to let you know if you are going to use AWS Free tier you will not be in the free tier.
