Business Analytics Help Needed

I currently have data coming out of a SQL server which I export into CSV. There is an option to set up an API with an external business intelligence tool. This is a new world to me, but Zoho Reports seems like it will fulfill my needs. I do not wish to purchase any new software, though I am willing to sign up for software online.
I need someone to help me understand this world as well as help set up the reporting infrastructure to crunch my data in the ways I need it processed.
Sorry I meant to note that the data is coming from a software program we use to operate our business; that software uses SQL.
