Good Evening
I wish to use this medium to apply for this project to be part of your team. I just completed my final exams for the award of B.A in Philosophy. Hence, as a philosopher I am fully equipped with the necessary skills to write articles of different categories.
I will be glad to accept $5 per 500 words article for original article and $5 per 500 words for rewrite.
Thanks for the time you have taken to read my proposal. Here I attach one of my recent articles titled the interplay between religion and diet.
N.b: it is incomplete because it is more than the maximum number of words for a proposal.
INTERPLAY BETWEEN RELIGION AND DIET
Humans beings, in one way or the other, cannot do without religion and keeping regular dietary habits. This is because they are very essential to human life. In the earlier period of human life, the ancient people, in an attempt to satisfy their need for staying out of hunger, were constantly in search of food, through hunting of animals, fishing and other forms of related activities that would provide them with what they would call ‘proper’ food. From these kinds of activities, they moved to the cultivation of food crops; which marked the beginning of agricultural work. All these were attempts done, by them, in order to produce varieties of food for their consumption. Although these people noticed that they could subjugate those animals inferior to them and make them instruments to satisfy their need of not being hungry (by consuming them), they, however, noticed that they were also an inferior being to a supernatural being and as such they always tried to create a good relationship between them and the Supreme or Supernatural Being: from this we can notice that the concept of ‘myth’- explanation of the happenings in the universe by appealing to the gods or to supernatural creatures - stems from this regard.
Religion and diet (food) are indispensable to the growth, development and continuous living of human beings in the society. The duo serves as the need for humans to nourish themselves: on the one hand religion serves as the need of humans to spiritually nourish themselves, and on the other hand diet serves as the need of humans to physically nourish themselves. These two facets of the human person; spiritual and physical, are so important that they cannot do without each other for existence. Humans are composite of both the spiritual and the physical facet and as such these two facets need to be cared for and nourished constantly.
Considering the nature and scope of diet, the question that is needed to be asked is: What is the relationship between religion and diet? How can we explain the interplay between religion and diet? In an attempt to answer the following questions, we would view, on the one hand, the influences of religion on diet and, on the other hand, the influences of diet on religion.
