Hello we are trying to do the following: We installed in a Linux software an automation software named Plesk. Plesk has the hability to create hosting, customers and email accounts from the shell command line. For example to create a mail "example at testiws.com" all you have to do in the linux server is: Connect by SSH as root and execute in the command line: cd /usr/local/psa/bin ./[login to view URL] -c example at [login to view URL] -passwd uhniuh12 That will create a email example at [login to view URL] with password uhniuh12 This application returns value 0 when everything it's ok, otherwise it returns 1 and the error description. We have our own intranet application programed in ASP and ASP .NET, we want to do an application hosted our Intranet (Windows 2000 server) that sends to the Linux server the instructions which will execute those. I have tried to do this with PHP, but it seems it doesnt executes commands as root (they dont work), and also I feel is insecure. Can you provide me some guide lines to program this application?
