decode strings

Write a program to decode a string. The encoding is unknown. These are old files we have, and we no longer know how they were generated. The output is readable XML & text. They are probably not encrypted. You can use any language. Your deliverable is a program to decode a string. The input string will be a binary (e.g. a hex string, etc). The following are samples: [login to view URL] Probably whatever method works for one string will work for them all. I provide multiples so you can look for patterns.
