Please do not bid unless you understand the project and have a good idea of how to make an elegant, efficient, scale-able way to do this in a current version of Visual Studio or other recommended development environment. The last guy made a useless mess in an old version that was not easily updated . I need some help from someone with good GUI and architecture ability to help lay out a project. I am making an application with a Navigation Tree on the left that activates hundreds of different pages in a main working area. What I need you to do is make a representative example of a good way to do it with the following (so that I can continue it): I would also need an written explanation of how to add nodes to the tree and more pages. My big concern now is how to design 100s of different pages that can be shown and hidden in the development environment quickly easily. 1. Make a project. 2. A tree on the left. 3. 3 nodes on the tree A, B, C 4. A working area on the right with changing pages that will be used for a variety of calculators. Notice each page has a different update trigger. 5. When Node A is active, the working area shows a page with only a. Two text boxes to enter a number for inputs b. One textbox for an answer c. One button that when pressed adds the two entry text boxes and puts the answer in the answer text box. 6. When Node B is active, the working area shows a page with only a. Two text boxes to enter a number for inputs b. One textbox for an answer c. When the keyboard Enter key is pressed the two entry text boxes are multiplied and the answer is put in the answer text box. 7. When Node C is active, the working area shows a page with a. Two text boxes to enter a number for inputs b. One textbox for an answer c. When the two entry text boxes filled, the entries are multiplied and the answer is put in the answer text box. When you are done, I will continue to add several hundred more nodes to the tree and corresponding pages, My request to you is to please make an example of an efficient and orderly way to make all of the pages considering that I will make hundreds of them and want to have an easy way to show and hide the pages for editing. Ideally I would like to use Visual Studio C++, (unless that is a bad choice) If for some reason Visual studio C++ is a bad choice for this project I am open to suggestions to use something else. Thanks for looking.

Hi, I do not think Visual C++ is a good choice for writing efficient GUI based programs. Its just my opinion. I can write the given GUI with Tree and nodes with pages on right panel in JAVA using Swings. Please contact me as soon as possible if you need my help. With Regards, Koustav

I can Make you a great framework to do this in C#. Using Dependency Injection the tree view can even be designed and coded to discover the views and how they should be laid out, composing the views into the left and disposing of them properly as the user navigates. I can supply a demo application if you like. The framework is extremely simple and easy to learn.
